A combination of a 12.5mm plasterboard (tapered edge), factory bonded to a high performance polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) insulant.
Within the design of the board, a vapour control layer is an optional feature to reduce the risk of condensation.
Other types of insulant such as expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS), mineral wool and phenolic are also available as a backing to the plasterboard.
